everything and the kitchen sink!!

Every morning Nancy wakes up to the smell of my cup of coffee in bed.... her little head pokes out from under the covers (yes, I know, she is so spoilt!!!) and she sniffs the air, knowing very well, that where there is coffee, there is a biscuit for her!! Finally have a kitchen... oh my goodness how nice that is, I made a salad for lunch yesterday IN MY KITCHEN, yes indeed, pleasures can be so small and yet so exquisite, and then did the dishes...IN MY KITCHEN...... ok, no hot water but who cares.... it'll come and someone invented a fast kettle for this very reason I am sure, so now I have to get my "hopeless at sewing" face on for my mum, who is anything bu hopeless at sewing! so she helps me with some curtains and things..... ahhhhhhhh.... gonna go and make a cup of tea.... IN MY KITCHEN!! :o))

  1. Ah, I don't know how I'd manage with no kitchen, Mariann... Our neighbour had a new kitchen extension built on her house; for a few weeks her "kitchen" was just a bit of floor in the corner, where the old kitchen used to be, with the cooker sitting in the middle of it, plus an old bit of work top. Everything else was boxed up and the water came from the bathroom! It drove her a bit mad, but she did cope.. The new kitchen is a dream... so gorgeous and worth waiting for, but those few weeks were crazy in her house!
It is So nice to have a Kitchen!

  4. Hi Ghislaine, I thought so too, the kitchen is quite dark... as most Spanish town houses are... so it does add a bit of sunshine.... from my kitchen window though I see my orange tree and my avocado tree, both in full flower, with birds nesting, it's so pretty!
