Handy Mandy......
Had this old tray I made years back, and it was starting to look so tired, so with my best acrylics... well, why not, I freshened it up, had a lot of fun and now it stands in my kitchen kind of glowing!!! Felt very "green" in a recycle kind of way.... and yes, that is my standard breakfast.... coffe and something "cardboard" as my husband describes the various Scandinavian dry bread products I love..... with a bit of cheese, yum..... read this hilarious article about people who take photographs of everything they eat, sounds like a super diet.... I would not like to see all the stuff I manage to put away every day.... another "Arnott's Mint Slice" anyone?

Love your tray! Isn't it nice to make yourself something once in awhile? And I think that breakfast looks delicious. I am betting I would be horrified if I took photos of everything I ate each day. Might be a very good diet plan! xox
ReplyDeleteThat tray is lovely! It does "glow" and looks very cool. A great bit of recycling there.
ReplyDeleteI prefer porridge or toast for breakfast.
This tray ought to bring a smile to your face every morning! it would mine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful tray! Glad you brought it back to life, it's wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI know..... this is how I started out as an artist, I made trays, serviett holders, tissuebox covers, yes, well, you name it, if it could be made in wood , i made it, and then I painted it.... this is before I discovered printmaking.... and after that there was no looking back!!
